Ginger Shots

Ginger Shots

A powerful little shot packed with bold flavor and incredible health benefits!

These ginger shots are amazing! I love to have them morning and evening. This recipe is enough for two people. My husband and I take these together after dinner. I like it first thing in the morning as well. I swear when I consistently take these that they help my aches and pains, due to the anti inflammatory properties in both ginger and turmeric! This recipe is super easy, and I hope you love them!

⏱ Prep Time

5 minutes

🥤 Servings

8-10 shots (2 ounces each)

🌟 Difficulty

Easy

Ingredients

  • 1 piece of fresh ginger root (about the size of the heel of your palm)
  • 1 piece of turmeric (size of your pinky) *substitution listed below*
  • 2 navel oranges
  • 2 gala apples

Instructions

  1. Wash all produce.
  2. Peel ginger and tumeric with spoon. Cut off the peel of the oranges.
  3. Cut up bigger fruits if necessary for your juicer.
  4. Juice, and put into shot glasses. You can find the ones I use here.
  5. Enjoy!

Tips & Notes

Can’t find turmeric? No worries. You can use powdered turmeric, and get almost the same benefits. Just juice everything and mix in about a tablespoon of turmeric powder.

Too spicy? The apples and oranges help soothe the intensity of a ginger shot. I find these ones to be the perfect amount of burn and sweet.

Make it ahead. These shots keep well in the fridge for up to 3 days.

The one I have is from Amazon, nothing fancy but I like it a lot. It unfortunately is not available on amazon right now, but I’ll send you the link so you have an idea of what kind of juicer I use! https://amzn.to/4xHIjZD
